Here in Toronto we were hit with the first snowfall of the season. And while everything looks all pretty, and very Christmas-ey outside it also brings about some practical shopping that needs to be done such as the purchase of a bag of ice salt.
So I'm off to do a wee bit of shopping, and will start working on some weekend posts when I'm back.
At least I can say that with snow on the ground I personally get into a much more festive mood, and Christmas shopping is actually a lot more pleasant for me.
Happy Shopping!

I started out blogging in 2005, although I had been webmastering at least two websites since around 1995. Over the years with both the websites, and especially the blogs I have been involved with I have found that images can really enhance an entry. Lets face it, people want their eye-candy, and that just means any type of eye catching photo or image.
Since I am not a professional photographer, and my own pics are always hit or miss I do appreciate this free-service that allows bloggers to snag the code for blog pictures, and use them on their sites.
Yes, I did say free! And it is also very easy to boot! Just do a quick sign-up at the linky I have added in for you in the above paragraph. The sign-up took me under two-minutes. Once you are registered you can access tons of free professional quality photos where the licensing has already been taken care of for you. It is no hassle, and you do not have to worry that you are infringing someone else's copyrighted materials.
The photos are in neat categories (the one you see above is from the urban collection). Once you located the category, and specific image you want to use you are given the option of what size you would like, and alignment. Choose what you want, click the button, and grab your code. Easy! ![]()
Now how cool is that?! Try it! ![]()
Cheers!

A mystery artist has been removing empty milk bottles from doorsteps in the U.K and then returning them having etched elaborate pictures on them. I would LOVE one of these bottles!
This entry will also serve as both my Tuesday, and Wednesday editions of WW ![]()
Please note that I do try to make sure that I visit the site's (if given) of everyone who comments here as the "you comment
I follow" rule is an important one to me.
Cheers!

1. How is burping seen in your family? Is it rude? Humorous? Applauded? And do you ignore it, apologize or hide it? Okay, same questions for farting. (Come on, don’t be shy! We’ve all done it!)
Its seen as a normal bodily function, and we do say excuse me. I've never found fart, or poo jokes funny.
2. How long was it from your first date until the proposal of marriage? How long until the wedding? What do you think the shortest amount of time is acceptable between the first date and being engaged and getting married?
I first got married over 20 years ago, and divorced after 14 years. I think we dated for two years prior to the ceremony give or take a month or two.
I have been together with the Busman for 7 years this December, and am in no big rush to remarry, although we have discussed it.
I think the amount of time really is up to the individual couple.
3. What do you have in your glove compartment? Show us a picture!
Nothing. I don't own a car, and I think I might get arrested if I tried to take a photo of the bus or subway trains compartments. ![]()
4. Which do you dislike most: pop-up ads or spam email? Do you think either “marketing” strategy is more effective than the other? Have you ever clicked on a pop-up ad or followed through with a spam email? What was the result?
I block pop-ups and delete spam. I loathe both. Still, someone has to be doing it or they would not keep bombarding us with this crap.
Thanks so much to Karen for putting together another fun meme. Why not play along
Have a great week everyone!
Cheers!
